I hadn’t really been taking many photos during our travels the past months. First of all because Hugz and I see the same things and we invariably found ourselves training our sights at the same targets. Eh, mas maganda ang camera niya (but am not conceding na mas magaling ang mata niya, bwahaha!), so I am content to just view his postings. However, while reviewing my San Francisco shots, I noticed that I took a lot of photos of the birds there.
So, here it is. The birds of San Francisco. Sangkatutak sila, hindi takot sa tao, nakakatuwa.

Ikaw ba ang Birdwoman of Alcatraz? : )
Naalala mo siguro yung movie Birdman of Alcatraz kaya nagka-interest kang kunan ang mga birds of San Francisco. This is an interesting study of bird behavior.
- blackbird
Pwede ring "Taking photo of bird of sleeping man?"
Those blackbirds are really daring. We had encountered these birds while we were eating inside Costco diner and at Starbucks too...they are not afraid of humans. They will swoop and grab your food as soon as you turn around.Cute thou.
ayyy...seagulls..they love handouts and they are very noisy too!
This bird is very cute, very urban. Ang sharp and observant ng eyes mo, Guia.
Very at home siya sa city.
Kaya nga ba while enjoying your clam chowder in your sourdough bread, we are told not to feed the birds kasi hindi ka nila titigilan ng pagpapa-kyot...hindi ka na makakakain, kasi intimidating sila...
When birds get near people and they come in flocks, I am reminded of the Alfred Hitchcock thriller "The Birds". Scary yun!
or naghihintay ng taxi???
HLH
and if you try to catch us, we will fly away! *beh!*
parang manok yung hinahabol nung little girl....uy, si Boboy yun ah! Sinong kausap, nagulat ako, hlh
| I just saw the "Birdman of Alcatraz" with Burt Lancaster last week. Boboy and I had the same trend of thought, are you the "Birdwoman of Alcatraz"?
Many years ago, si Jamm naiputan ng seagull sa Fisherman's Wharf while in flight. He cannot forget that. Buti hindi siya naging bato as in the story of Ibong Adarna. |
Actually it was assisting the man to cross the road. : )
Ay mali! Actually while the seagull was in flight, he dropped the bomb on Jamm.
kung yung bird na to umupo sa silya or sa table at nag peruse ng menu..ok rin....hihimatayin na ako sa tuwa...

*defensive when noticing the menacing looks from other people and bird-lovers* what?! its true! I swear! |
hugzone wrote on Dec 3, '07, edited on Dec 3, '07 This was actually an early breakfast. The early bird catches the bacon. Hehehe.

so...in the animal world, will it happen as BNK said, at may third sex? think of it - gay fish, gay rooster (eto, parang may napuna ako), gay dog...
Naku patay, liliko na naman ang usapan. Rooster to pig: bakit ka palaging nakatungo?
| teka muna....pause to giggle ako about the rooster at pig na nakatungo (uhm..I will find out the meaning later)
Of course, mahilig ang cat sa birds. Remember Sylvester and Tweety Bird? At saka, I remember an incident in my childhood in Proj. 8 wherein our tomcat devoured the hatchlings of an unfortunate maya who made the mistake of making its nest under the eaves of our house. =(
