for everyone
I had always visited the US during summer. So, this is the first time I will ever see snow. The closest I have ever seen it was when I went to Japan in the spring and caught just a thin film of melting frost on the trees and grass. I took this shot from the bedroom window when I woke up to see that it had started to snow in my sister's town.
Real live Christmas trees!

Ive seen snow na in National Glacier Park in Montana, but never falling snow!!! ;-)

Si JD na experience nya na ang white Christmas, and falling snow sa Chicago. Grabe daw ang lamig!

Sana one of these years, our family will have a white Christmas.

No eating of snow allowed. Hehehe ;-)

Falling snow is magical, parang maliliit na mga bulak na slowly wafting about and gliding down. Pagdapo sa pisngi mo napakasarap ng pakiramdam. Pag sa ulo naman it stays on your head until you go indoors, tapos melt na. Freshly fallen snow is always white, clean, and simply wonderful. The whole landscape becomes a winter wonderland, and pretty soon kids are outside building snowmen or tobogganing, or just throwing snowballs at each other.

Snow is also good in halo-halo or mais con hielo, although the texture is finer than scraped ice. There's nothing wrong eating snow. In fact in Quebec during the Maple Festival in winter, they pour maple syrup on snow and eat it. Parang "shave ice" sa Hawai'i.

i remember the euphoria of having falling snow fall unto you --- we were in Baltimore and it started snowing. Ang liliit pero it builds up. Next thing you know you're covered in it, magical nga. :-) I love the feeling. it's a combination of wonder, amazement and giddy happiness.

You've only seen snow in pictures?! You've been in the US for ages and you haven't experience that kind of magic?
